Overview

The Cisco CCNA certification (exam 200-301) validates the core skills needed to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot an enterprise network. It covers networking and IPv4/IPv6 addressing fundamentals, switching (VLANs, trunking, Spanning Tree, EtherChannel), enterprise wireless, static routing and OSPF, IP services (DHCP, NAT, NTP, SNMP, Syslog), security fundamentals (ACLs, port security, AAA, VPN concepts) and an introduction to network automation and programmability.

In Morocco, the CCNA remains one of the most requested certifications in IT job ads. Network teams at banks, telecom operators, systems integrators and the offshoring centres of Casablanca, Rabat and Tangier run large Cisco estates and expect their technicians and engineers to know how to configure them. It is also an excellent gateway into cybersecurity: you can only protect what you understand, and most experienced SOC analysts, penetration testers and security engineers first learned to read a routing table, a packet capture or an access control list.

Our 5-day (40-hour) course follows the official 200-301 exam topics and is heavily hands-on: configuring switches and routers, troubleshooting exercises and preparation for simulation questions. It runs in class in Casablanca or Rabat, or as a live virtual classroom, and the voucher for the official Cisco exam is included in the price.

Who is it for?

  • Network, support and helpdesk technicians moving into network administration
  • Graduates of engineering schools, private institutes or OFPPT (networks and systems tracks) aiming for a first role
  • System administrators who need to understand and configure network infrastructure
  • Aspiring SOC analysts and penetration testers who want a solid networking base before specialising
  • Integrator and telecom operator teams working with Cisco equipment

Prerequisites

  • No formal prerequisites set by Cisco
  • Basic IT knowledge (operating systems, what an IP address is); some support or networking experience is a plus
  • Comfort with binary for subnetting, reviewed during the course
  • Reading-level technical English, as the exam is offered in English

What you will be able to do

  • Design an IPv4 and IPv6 addressing plan and subnet quickly
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches: VLANs, trunks, Spanning Tree, EtherChannel
  • Set up static routing and single-area OSPF, and diagnose connectivity issues
  • Deploy essential IP services: DHCP, NAT, NTP, SNMP, Syslog
  • Secure device and network access with ACLs, port security and AAA
  • Understand network automation basics (REST APIs, JSON, controllers) and approach the 200-301 exam with a method

Frequently asked questions

How much does CCNA training cost in Morocco and what is included?

The course starts at 10,900 MAD. This covers 5 instructor-led days (40 hours), course materials, access to hands-on labs, practice exams and the voucher for the official Cisco 200-301 exam. Corporate quotes are available for group registrations.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by bank transfer or by card. Individuals can pay in 3 interest-free monthly instalments, with the exam voucher issued after the second instalment. Companies pay against an invoice once the quote is approved.

Is the course held in class or online?

Sessions run in class in Casablanca and Rabat, or as a live virtual classroom, with the same syllabus and labs. The online format lets you attend from anywhere in Morocco.

Where and how do I take the CCNA 200-301 exam?

The exam is delivered by Pearson VUE. You can take it online with remote proctoring (OnVUE) from home or the office, or at an authorised Pearson VUE test centre. It lasts about 120 minutes (Cisco does not publish the exact number of questions) and includes multiple-choice, drag-and-drop and simulation questions. Cisco does not publish the passing score.

Are there prerequisites? Should I start with CCNA or Security+?

There are no mandatory prerequisites, but basic IT knowledge and reading-level technical English are recommended. If you do not yet have a solid networking base, start with the CCNA: it makes Security+ or CCNA Cybersecurity much easier afterwards. If you already know networking well, you can go straight to a security certification.
