Overview

The PECB NIS 2 Directive Lead Implementer course teaches you to run a compliance programme for Directive (EU) 2022/2555. It covers scope (essential and important entities), governance and the accountability of management bodies, the cybersecurity risk management measures of Article 21, supply chain security, incident reporting duties (early warning within 24 hours, notification within 72 hours, final report), and the supervision and penalties set by the directive.

NIS 2 does not apply directly in Morocco, but it closely affects many Moroccan companies. Subsidiaries of European groups must align with their parent's cyber policy. Offshoring centers, IT service firms, cloud operators and managed service providers working for EU entities in scope see these requirements passed down through their contracts under supply chain security. A NIS 2 programme fits well with local obligations: Law 05-20 on cybersecurity, the DGSSI's DNSSI and Law 09-08 on personal data.

Over 5 days (35 hours), the course mixes theory, case study exercises and exam preparation, using ISO/IEC 27001 to structure the implementation. The PECB exam is included in the price and can be taken at the end of the session or online at a later date.

Frequently asked questions

How much does NIS 2 Lead Implementer training cost in Morocco?

The course starts at 17,900 MAD. The price covers 5 instructor-led days (35 hours), course materials, the case study and the PECB certification exam. PECB annual maintenance fees, due once you hold the certificate, are not included.

Does NIS 2 really matter to a Moroccan company?

Not directly: the directive applies to entities established in, or providing services in, the EU. But a subsidiary of a European group, or an IT provider whose clients are in scope, gets these requirements from its parent company or through contracts. Mastering NIS 2 then becomes a commercial advantage.

Is the training in class or online, and in which language?

Sessions run in class in Casablanca or Rabat, or as a live virtual classroom. The course is taught in French or English depending on the session, with examples from Moroccan offshoring and links to Law 05-20 and the DNSSI.

How does the PECB NIS 2 Lead Implementer exam work?

The exam lasts 3 hours and the pass mark is 70%. You can take it at the end of the session or online with remote proctoring on the PECB platform, on a date of your choice. PECB confirms the exact question format when you register.

What payment options do you offer?

You can pay by bank transfer or card, and installments are possible on request. For companies, we provide a quote and an invoice in the company's name; in-house sessions are also available.
