Overview

The PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer course teaches you to build an information security management system (ISMS) end to end: defining the scope, risk assessment, the Statement of Applicability, selecting from the 93 Annex A controls of the 2022 edition, documentation, metrics, internal audit and management review, all the way to preparing for the certification audit.

In Morocco, ISO 27001 has become a shared language between organizations subject to Law 05-20 on cybersecurity and the DGSSI's DNSSI, banks supervised by Bank Al-Maghrib, and companies processing personal data under CNDP oversight (Law 09-08). For offshoring centers and IT service firms working with European clients, ISO 27001 certification is often a contractual requirement. A well-designed ISMS lets you address several of these demands with a single approach.

Over 5 days (35 hours), the course mixes theory, exercises on a case study that runs through the week, and exam preparation. The PECB exam is included in the price and can be taken at the end of the session or online at a later date.
