The FCP – FortiGate Administrator certification (exam FCP_FGT_AD-7.6, formerly NSE 4) validates the ability to deploy, configure and operate a FortiGate firewall running FortiOS 7.6. It covers initial setup, firewall policies and NAT, user authentication, SSL/TLS inspection, security profiles (antivirus, IPS, web filtering, application control), routing, SD-WAN, IPsec VPNs, high availability and troubleshooting. This exam is the core requirement of the Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) Network Security track.
In Morocco, FortiGates protect a large number of head offices and branches: banks and insurers, telecom operators, the offshoring centres of Casablanca and Rabat, retail and public administrations. With Law 05-20 on cybersecurity and DGSSI directives, organisations must show disciplined management of filtering, logging and remote access. Administrators who can design a clean policy set, roll out SD-WAN between branches or troubleshoot an IPsec tunnel are therefore in high demand with integrators and in-house teams.
