How much does a cybersecurity certification cost in Morocco?

For an instructor-led cybersecurity certification with the official exam included, expect anywhere from 10,900 MAD (CompTIA Security+) to 29,900 MAD (OSCP+) in our 2026 catalogue. The amount depends on the vendor, the level and the length of the preparation. Two items explain most of the gap: the exam voucher price set by the vendor (in US dollars) and the number of training days.

Comparing offers on the headline price alone is risky. Some advertise a training-only rate, others include the exam, labs or a practice test. Before you sign, check exactly what the amount covers, then add the costs that come after you pass: annual maintenance, continuing education credits and a possible retake.

The prices below are GATech's public "from" rates for 2026. Every one of them includes instructor-led preparation and the official exam voucher.

2026 prices for 12 certifications, in dirhams

Listed from the most affordable to the most expensive. Each price includes training and the exam voucher; what else is provided depends on the certification.

  • CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) — from 10,900 MAD: 5 days (35 h), materials, hands-on labs, practice exam and exam voucher.
  • Cisco CCNA (200-301) — from 10,900 MAD: 5 days (40 h), networking labs, practice exam and the Cisco exam voucher (Pearson VUE).
  • Cisco CCNA Cybersecurity (200-201, ex-CyberOps) — from 10,900 MAD: 5 days (40 h), SOC analysis labs, practice exam and the Cisco exam voucher.
  • CompTIA CySA+ (CS0-003) — from 12,900 MAD: 5 days (35 h), analysis workshops, practice exam and voucher.
  • CompTIA PenTest+ (PT0-003) — from 12,900 MAD: 5 days (35 h), hands-on labs during the session, practice exam and voucher.
  • EC-Council CND v3 (312-38) — from 15,900 MAD: 5 days (40 h), official EC-Council labs, courseware and voucher.
  • PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer — from 17,900 MAD: 5 days (35 h), running case study, materials and the PECB certification exam.
  • EC-Council CHFI v11 (312-49) — from 19,900 MAD: 5 days (40 h), official digital forensics labs, courseware and voucher.
  • ISACA CISM — from 19,900 MAD: 4 days (32 h), materials, practice questions and exam voucher.
  • EC-Council CEH v13 (312-50) — from 21,900 MAD: 5 days (40 h), official labs, courseware and the 312-50 exam voucher (CEH Practical is optional).
  • ISC2 CISSP — from 23,900 MAD: 5 days (40 h), materials, adaptive-style practice questions and voucher.
  • OffSec OSCP+ (PEN-200) — from 29,900 MAD: 10 days of coaching (80 h), PEN-200 lab access and one exam attempt.

What drives the price of a certification?

The voucher comes first. Vendors (CompTIA, EC-Council, ISC2, ISACA, OffSec, PECB) set their exam fees in dollars or euros and revise them regularly. A CISSP or CEH voucher costs significantly more than a Security+ voucher, and that flows through to the final price. The MAD/USD exchange rate matters too, which is why a quote is valid for a limited period.

Duration and format come next. A 4- or 5-day preparation does not cost the same as a 10-day programme like OSCP+. Official labs, essential for technical certifications (CEH, CHFI, CND, PEN-200), carry a licence cost on top of the instructor.

  • Voucher price set by the vendor in foreign currency
  • Number of instructor-led days and hours
  • Access to official labs and how long it lasts
  • Official materials, practice questions and mock exams
  • Number of exam attempts included (often just one)
  • Format: classroom in Casablanca or Rabat, live virtual class, in-company session

Hidden costs to watch out for elsewhere

The training price is not the full cost of a certification. Several expenses come later, and very cheap offers often leave them out. Exact amounts depend on each vendor's fee schedule, which changes over time: check the official vendor website when you register.

  • Retakes: if you fail, you usually have to buy a new voucher. Ask whether an extra attempt or retake insurance is available, and at what price.
  • Annual maintenance fees: ISC2 (CISSP), ISACA (CISM), EC-Council (CEH, CHFI, CND) and PECB charge a yearly fee to keep the certification active.
  • Continuing education: most certifications are valid for 3 years and renew through credits (CPE, ECE or CompTIA's CE programme), sometimes with a renewal fee.
  • Certification application fees: at ISACA, for example, once you pass the CISM exam you file a paid certification application.
  • Extended lab access: for OSCP+, extending lab time or buying an extra attempt is charged separately.
  • Additional exams: the CEH Practical, for instance, is not included in the standard CEH price.

Paying in instalments or getting your training funded

For individuals, instalments are the simplest route: most providers, GATech included, accept payment in several instalments on request, by bank transfer or card. Schedule the payments so the balance is settled before your exam date.

For employees, employer funding is often the best option. Build a simple case: which business need the certification addresses (compliance, audit, SOC, penetration testing), what it saves in outside contractors, and a quote in the company's name. Moroccan companies can also look into continuing-education reimbursement schemes such as special training contracts; eligibility rules change, so check them with the relevant bodies before committing.

How companies budget for cybersecurity training

Teams that manage this budget well think in paths rather than isolated certifications. A SOC analyst starts with Security+ and moves to CySA+; a pentester takes CEH or PenTest+ and then OSCP+; a CISO targets CISSP or CISM, complemented by ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. This sequencing spreads spending over two or three financial years.

Also consider the full 3-year cost: training, exam, annual fees and time spent in training. For a group of staff, an in-company session is often cheaper per person and fits your calendar.

  • List the roles to cover and the target certification for each
  • Add up training, voucher and maintenance fees over 3 years
  • Keep a margin for a possible retake
  • Negotiate a group rate or an in-company session
  • Tie each certification to a concrete requirement (compliance, client, tender)

Getting an exact quote from GATech

GATech's published rates are "from" prices that include instructor-led preparation and the official exam voucher. The final amount depends on the format, the number of participants and any options (extra attempt, additional exam). Request a detailed quote: every line is itemised, including what is not covered, so you can budget without surprises.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest cybersecurity certification in Morocco?

In our catalogue, CompTIA Security+ is the most affordable: from 10,900 MAD for 5 days of training (35 hours), a practice exam and the SY0-701 exam voucher. It is also a solid entry point for a first security role.

Does the price include the official exam?

Yes. All GATech "from" prices include the vendor's official exam voucher (or the PECB exam for ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and one exam attempt for OSCP+). Retakes, optional exams and annual fees are not included.

Why do CISSP and OSCP+ cost more?

The CISSP voucher is among the most expensive on the market, and the preparation lasts 5 days. For OSCP+, the price covers 10 days of coaching (80 hours), PEN-200 lab access and one attempt at a hands-on exam lasting almost 24 hours.

What fees should I expect after getting certified?

Most certifications renew every 3 years through continuing education credits. ISC2, ISACA, EC-Council and PECB also charge an annual fee, and ISACA requires a certification application fee after you pass CISM. Check current amounts on each vendor's website.

Can I pay for training in instalments?

Yes, payment in instalments is possible on request, by bank transfer or card. If your employer is funding the training, we issue a quote and then an invoice in the company's name.
